Jeffrey Clark is the former lead singer, songwriter, and co-founder of Shiva Burlesque, one of the most distinctive bands of the alternative music
scene in 1980’s Los Angeles. He has released two solo albums; Sheer Golden Hooks was released on IPR in 1996, and if/is came out on Clark’s
own Hexagram Records in 2009. This is a live in-studio version of a song previously released on if/is, performed and recorded at Jhon Renoir’s
Hiroshi House Studio; November 14th, 2010. The gifted musicians on the track include Noah Georgeson (producer of Joanna Newsom, Devendra
Barnhart, Bert Jansch, etc.); Lee Bob Watson (The Truth); the incomparable Eric Potter; and members of Them Hills and Low Flying Owls.
