about

The Invisible Opera Company of Tibet was formed in the mid-1990's by William Faircloth and Dallas Taylor from Red Temple Spirits after both of them relocated to Sedona, Arizona. Inspired by the "Invisible Opera Company of Tibet" codename and musical concept created by Daevid Allen (from the 1970’s band Gong), Faircloth and Taylor gathered like-minded local musicians to perform around Sedona, and participated in the first Beautiful Noise festival in Scottsdale, AZ organized by Half String member Brandon Capps in 1993.

This song was recorded for use on a promotional cassette tape created by Capps to publicize the festival and has not been commercially
released until now. Faircloth and Taylor recorded and self-released a limited edition cassette album in 1996 called The Alien Host, with
Faircloth designing & letterpress printing the J-cards at Independent Project Press, where he was working as a pressman at the time.
Independent Project Records will be re-issuing the Alien Host album on both physical and digital formats in 2022.
